Is it hard to change an air compressor in a 1993 Buick Park Avenue?

I need to replace the air compressor in my 1993 Buick Park Avenue.  The auto shop
quoted me $800.00.  Is this a job I could do myself?

Not unless you have a vacume puller,to remove every thing from your ac system,but that said it can be done,but with out the right ac tool,s it may or may not work right, good luck with it.
