windshield wipers quit working on 2000 Lesabre Custom

the wipers worked sporadically for about 2 month no matter what setting they
were on, i have the rain sensor. Now they quit altogether.

Inspect the wiper system. Test the fuse for that circuit. Test for power and ground at the motor. Remove and replace the faulty motor. Test for proper operation of the wipers.

Same prob with 2000 Buick Lesabre I just purchased. Found the motor has been replaced 3 times and still wipers working intermittently with no sequence at all...slow/fast/itermitent, etc. Please help
