where is positive terminal for jump starting

On the battery? Look for the + symbol. If you have side terminals you may need an adapter to jump start.

If you don't know 100% for certain then let someone with more mechanical knowledge jump it, if you cross connect you'll ruin the battery and likely fry a fusible link.

For Buick LeSabres you dont want to jump start the car from the battery, you want to jump it from the fuse box, there is a positive terminal on there, and then connect the negative side to ground (engine block, frame, etc.), the reason you dont want to jump it from the battery is because the battery is below the backseat in the car
