Why is my truck not starting?

Asked by cgeto Mar 02, 2016 at 08:18 PM about the 1991 Ford F-150

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was running low on gas a week ago, stopped at the store, and it hasn't turned on since. I just put in new spark plugs, wires, and added a new fuel filter. What could be the problem?

Check fuel pressure ans spark at soar plugs to at least narrow down the problem, replacing parts by guessing, can get expensive

Can u here the fuel pump cycling if you bump the key? If so fuel pump is good, should here is buzzing a few seconds. Also try unplugging mass airflow sensor and try starting it, if it runs that's the problem. Dont run long with it unplugged or it will foul ur plugs
