I got fuel and spark but won’t start
I got 1993 Ford F-150 with the 300 straight
six and I replaced the fuel pump in it and it
started right up after not running for 5
years and i got it up to temperature and
cut it off then back up and went smooth
and then tried again the next day and just
cranks check for spark and I am check for
fuel and I am getting that too.. we did get
rain and it got pretty cold. Any ideas at all!?
Sorry, I was just trying to get the point out there without writing a book. Yes I got fuel and spark, yes it’s damp outside and the truck will not start. What am I looking for when I check the cap and no I don’t think there is a grey module on the distributor.
Hey! Just to let you know, I took the spark plugs out and the gaps on them were all in the .90s, so I regapped them to the Standard .46 and the truck fired right up! Thanks for the input tho! Ps... still puzzling me why it would start one day but not the next. ????
How did you re gap the plugs?
