My truck won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2001 Ford f-150 super crew cab, 4.6litre. I
had to jump my battery several times now to
start it. Auto zone checked my battery,
starter and alternate. All 100%. Tested my
engine, nothing wrong. But still dies. Now
not getting gas. Used starting fluid, almost
started.  Is my starter relay and fuel filter
bad. I ran my jumper cables to the starter
relay and battery. Cranked but no start. I'm
lost.

same thing happened to my in-laws. it started out as a intermittent problem, but got worse over time. Finally replace the fuel pump and no problem since.
