goes down with pass. switch but only up with drivers master ? ? I'd say it was the pass. switch , if you have a multi tester you could make sure before buying a part you don't need , you'll have to pull the panel U toob can help with that

He mentions passenger window operates fine using passenger switch, so it's not the passenger switch or window motor. Problem is with master switch in driver's side panel.

You'll need a multi-meter. Since the window goes up and down the motor can be eliminated. The problem is in the master driver's side control or wiring. Check for output voltage when the appropriate button is pressed for the affected window in the desired direction.
