Where is the timing chain cover?

Asked by Rob Nov 08, 2013 at 06:57 PM about the 1963 Ford Thunderbird

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Where would I go about finding the
timing belt cover so I can get my 63 tbird
firing continuously? I have the shop
manual but it doesn't show where it is
under the hood. Also, where would the
harmonic balancer be so I can do this
right.

Don't want to be a buzz kill, but if you don't know what the harmonic balancer is and where it is, you should have a shop do the job, not a good job to start on.
