Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 4 barrel Autolite carb on  a ford 390  1963 t bird I've had the crank
ground, camshafts lifters, etc and the  cylinder pressure is even at 140
the carb is 3 years old but the fuel screws don't seem to make much
difference, the motor runs roughly.
if I clean the carb what do I need to look for specifically?

1 Answer

If the engine runs rough I would be looking at the ignitions system. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points and condenser as well as timing. Get those right before messing with the carb.
