1961 Thunderbird: the wiper motor replacement

1961 Thunderbird: the wiper motor has to be replaced.

Q1, Do I have to remove the dash pad to do the work,...
Q2: Does anyone know where I can get the clips that hold the wiper arms on to
the motor spindle?

If the 1961 is same as the 1963, which I think it is, Ive just replaced the motor, In many cases, the motor is oil driven from the power steering, so first check this, follow the lines from the power steering box and see if they go through the firewall, if so its oil driven, If so you will need to remove the panel just behind the hood ( outside the car) and you'll see the pump. Ill not say more incase yours is electric and this is all nonsense, if you need more from me contact me on neil.willis@hotmail.co.uk
