1955 tbird positive or negative ground

    i have read so many things about pos /neg. ground

told the neg. ground started in 56 not 55  for the tbird

so which is it negative ground for the 55 or positive
i just purchased a 55 and it is a neg. ground   right or wrong ???

if it is stock, it will be 6 volt positive ground.

Which cable is negative, the big one that goes to engine or the smaller on that goes to celenoid on fire wall?
