PROPORTIONATE VALVE

Asked by THE_D_MAN Apr 16, 2009 at 09:17 PM about the 1989 Ford Ranger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE AND WHERE ON THE TRUCK CAN I FIND IT

It's a block of aluminum on the dirver's side frame rail underneath the truck with two brake lines hooked to it. If the truck has ABS it will have a couple of round canister-looking things (solenoids) on the top and a wiring connector.
