Is the frame of my 1985 ranger the same as a 1988 Bronco 2

no it is not. the bronco 2 frame is several inches shorter. the wheelbase is also different. the shortest wheelbase of a ranger was 102 inches , whereas the bronco 2 rode on a 92 inch wheelbase , a ranger can be put on a b2 frame , but it requires serious fabrication of the bed , and a b2 body will not fit on a ranger frame.
no they are different , i am a member of therangerstation.com , and the information there say that they are different , 1985 Ranger , Shortest Wheelbase = 107.9 in . Bronco II Wheelbase , All Years = 94.0 in . they are different , unless you extend the frame or bob the bed
Hi Guys, I too am looking to take my cancer ridden 1987 Bronco 2 off the frame and put it on a 1987 Ranger I bought for my son 26 yeas ago. The bronco 2 has a good motor, with 0 problems. The Ranger had 0 problems when it was parked,, but I am certain it will not run, it's set up and it's carb. I am very open for any suggestions, Thank everyone in advance,. I look forward to have people that have done this to help me. Roger
The Bronco II has 2 more body mounts than the Rangers.
