Getting gas but no spark, bought new coil,no luck.
reading alot of forums and it seems to be the ignition igniter in the distrib. $160 new, went to the junk yard got a used distrib with the igniter for 70, car starts but after six minutes it dies, goes back to no spark, elec test says power to coil and the igniter but no spark. just wanna see before i plunk down 160 for a new ignition igniter if there might be something i am missing or a simple test i can do...... thanks

ps fuses ok, 3 wires next to batt replaced and ok(jumper wires).
