1988 3/4 ton with 302/5L engine, manual 4 spd granny transmission and 411 rear; can it tow 11,000 boat/trailer combination?

Yes, No problem. Just make sure you have a properly installed hitch. I have towed as much as 7 tons, wouldn't make a habit of it, but 5.5 tons fine. It's probably the 7.700 GVW and is just a bit stressful on your '88 but it WILL do it. Give your baby a good radiator flush, the most likely problem will be keeping it cool, by cool I mean normal operating temperature. That 302 is one of the finest engines ever built, foreign or domestic

PS don't try this with a one axle trailer. Ideal would be a two-axle, dual, 8-tire trailer and for god's sake make sure it has brakes!!! And pendel hitch, not a ball--a ring on the trailer, with a locking pendel hitch on your truck
