What was the highway/city gas mileage rating when it was new?

lol my gas mileage on my 2001 f-150 is around 9-10 city, granted that it's on 35's and a 6" suspension lift + 3" body lift...

My 2003 gets 23-24 Hwy. If you keep rpm under/at 2000. Which nets you around 65 Mph. 4 Dr Supercrew short box Lariat
