1965 Chevy Impala Air Noise after replacing heater core

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had the heater core replaced.  I now hear an 'air' noise coming from under the dash when the car is running.  I wonder if the tech forgot to hook something up.   The only other comment the tech made was the AC compressor seemed to 'always be on' so he just disconnected it since it is a convertible and it is winter.  Any idea what to check for?  The sound is definitely new and kinda annoying.
