dash pad removal

I want to remove the padded dash pad from a 1965 Impala SS.  How?

You will have to remove the instrument cluster to get at the nuts that hold it on the back side. We sell dash caps that look good & you will not have to do that. 888-664-8494

how does you r dash cap mount if it doesn't require removal of dash paf?
