What is the computer box next to the brake booster under the hood?

Hi,
     I was just wondering what the box next to the brake booster for?  It was unhooked and I just noticed it now, was wondering what it was for bc I hooked it back up, it has two connectors that are about 1.5 inches wide each.

Thanks, kinda figured it was something to do with the brake system, I just dont know why it was unplugged.
