the door on my 1988 4-runner will not close no matter what i do it is killing me because theres sooo much snow and it is just parked so i will probably need to replace the carpet and electrical.

it could be the locking latch is closed as if the door were already closed. try pulling the handle on the inside of the door with the door unlocked. if that doesnt work your door isn't hung right and something has screwed it up...

well the door is stock and it is kinda frozen so i think i will just sell it and get another toyota

that would be the best move sell it and buy American car next time around,I do have the same problem with my 90 4Runner the window at the back will not work all the time.It seems that almost everybody has problem with that back door window.
