I am about to change the oil on the car. I just bought it from a previous owner, there is no manual. What is the oil capacity of this car?

The 1996 Tercel with the 1.5L engine only takes 3 quarts, which is including the filter change. Mine is at 280,000 miles, so I've changed the oil a time or two. Four quarts will overfill the crankcase.
