When you drive at 60 mph, can you switch transmition from drive to neutral

Yes you can but like Papa said, this may cause premature wear on the transmission. Alot of the hypermilers do this for increased gas savings. But who wants to always coat around in nuetral on every hill.

It can be done, but I would only recommend doing so in an emergency situation that required it.
