I have a Toyota Corolla ascent 2000 an my radio keeps showing SEC on the radio but every time I put it in and it's starts to work but as soon as I turn the key from ACC to ON it switched off and goes back to SEC again, can anyone help

Sounds like the memory wire to stereo is not holding fire,this holds stations and presets in your stereo,it suppose to stay hot all the time,

Is there a way to fix it or does that mean it's no good and need to replace the whole stereo?
