Headlights and interior lights are on the same switch correct? Fuel pump is a coincidence.

I thought so too but I replaced the wires going on the alternator going to the back of the block, two pink ones on the same connector with two large plastic tubes on them. it is working so far. no clue what the plastic was for.

Those plastic tubes are probably heat insulators. You put then on the new wires correct?

Not a coincidence, I run a hot wire from my fuel pump to my battery, fuel pump works like a champ, but still no fire coming in to my fuel pump relay, no fire to my horn, no fire to my headlights, no fire to my interior lights....checked for bad fuse links that come right straight from the behind the battery, all had perfect continuity. Four of them. Give me a stinking carburettor and I'll make that big boy run, Bunch of electronic stinking junk
