2000 Honda CR-V

I have a Honda CR-V 2000 it has aprovimetky 220k miles
and theirs times where I’m druving to work and I
accelerate or just from the beginning I can hear a
screaching sound coming from my wheels and I have no
idea what it is please help !!!!!

The best place to start is have the brakes checked.

They’ve done that put I’ve heard you can replace some thing in their in the brakes where it won’t push against each other and stop the screaching metal sound but idk what that part is called


You can remove the pads and scuff them up,apply de-squeak to the back of the pads,make sure all the rattle clips are in good shape and apply some silicone based grease to them and reinstall.
