My 06 Honda CRV was having battery problems but since the wires have been tightened it was fine for one day...then it was hard to start but it did and it ran fine but whenever I slow down to stop to turn or to stop and idle it dies unless I keep giving it gas and reving it up in order to keep it running. What do you think it may be? I am a single mom and have to get to work? Please help

Hard to start if it starts at all without wiggling the cables and now whenever I slow down to stop it kills and it does start back up but it takes a few tries and it sounds like the battery isn't turning the car over fast enough.  Every time I stop or slow down to turn I have to keep giving it gas or the car will just kill.  Please help

If car is cutting out when slowing down, it sounds like your alternator isn't producing enough current to keep your battery charged. Is the car cutting out more frequently with the headlights on?

I had the same problem with my Honda Accord. I replaced the battery cables completely and it solved the problem.
