I need to know the timing specs on a 1950 Ford country squire wagon

there is a groove on the pulley for 1949-1951 six and v-8 engines, when this mark and the pulley are lined up with number 1 at tdc on compression stroke the points should just start to open this will get you close enough to star it up and finish the rest with a timing light.
