Car running hot/ no ac

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2007 Chevy Equinox say that the "engine
is running hot ac off" even when i first start it
in the morning.
The oil level is fine and coolant resivor is fine
not sure what is going on.
I am past due for an oil change could this be
the problem
