Auto-lights off radio goes off with it

Asked by Cheyanne Jan 09, 2020 at 05:46 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my radio shut off today when I turned off my
auto-headlights which I don’t like having on during
the day. And it comes back on when I turn my lights
on again, and is now casually turning off an on
again by itself. And on top of all that I can’t see any
of the numbers on the screen. Can someone please
explain to me why this happening?

I suspect dirty, loose or damp electrical connections somewhere. Mine does weird things like that from time to time and then fixes itself a while later. Hopefully your will too. In the mean time leave the auto lights on if that solves the problem.
