no power from gas pedal

I belive the 06 aveo is throttle by wire. The throttle is controlled by a sensor on the gas pedal. Check that, most likely it came unplugged or has failed.

My 2008 Chevy Aveo didn't have acceleration from the gas pedal either, but we replaced the PCV valve and it seems to be working fine now.
