Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i just paid dealer $110 to replace a lighter fuse that somehow disengaged my 4 x 4 traction. ford is back-pedaling & claims this mishap does not fall under its warranty... i have only 20 k miles, with 100 k extended warranty !!    the 4 x 4 line should be dedicated , & is a huge design flaw on fords behalf.  i will be seeking legal action, strictly out of principle.

well seeing as thats not a normal issue that happens i dont see that you have a foot to stand on. those cig lighters can pop fuse's with any little partical of metal getting in them and shorting it out. the 4x4 line wont be dedicated because its hardly used, the mass's of people who use 4x4 on a day to day basis is like slim to non,
