Ten year old Car, Those two items are considered wear items. Like brake pads. Its maintenance. Buy new with 5 year service plan warranty.

Batteries only last about 5 years and your newly bought car is ten, that is a given either you now its going to need one soon and you ask seller if it has a new or you know or understand it will need one soon.
