wiper motor help

Asked by _DDean44 Jul 10, 2011 at 03:32 PM about the 2006 Ford Mustang

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The wipers on my 06 mustang stopped moving but the wiper motor still works, I can hear it running. How do you get the wiper arms off to remove the plastic shield that covers the wiper motor?

you can raise the round cover with a small flathead screwdriver, remove bolt pull wiper arm off, sounds like the plastic cup has wore out that connects the motor to wiper arms.is a quick fix.
