If your not looking to do an engine swap, then you can add a short ram air/ cold air intake, will had maybe 5 HP. You can change the headers, and full exhaust/ cat back or axle back, and you can add maybe 20HP. You can add a turbo system but that will run you a TON of cash and it would be easier to just purchase the 4EFTE engine. Or you can add a GTE Supercharger, which you can buy on ebay for like 300 and it will add anywhere between 20-60 HP.
