when engine on is it normal oil spill when cup is off from cylinder head

While engine on in neutral ,cylinder cup off ,oil spilling,is that normal

Cylinder head cup off? What cup? Oil filler cap? Yeah, full of questions back at ya but don't know what you are referring to, but any cap/plug/hose not in place oil may well come out. Your '92 has either a 1.6L 4A FE or 1.8L 7A FE ...can you describe what you are talking about, it's one or the other of these..will go full screen
