Would an ECU from a 1997 corolla fit in my 1992 corolla?

Trying to buy an ECU for my 1992 Toyota Corolla Seca. Was wondering if an ECU from a 1997 Corolla would fit and work in my car. Both the original and the new ECU that I'm looking at have the same code: 7AFE. Please help as soon as possible.
