where is thermostat housing located

Follow the upper radiator hose back from the radiator to where it enters the engine block. You will find the thermostat housing here, however, you may need to remove intake manifold or other parts to access it depending on what engine you have. Suggest a Haynes manual for step-by-step directions on what needs to be moved/removed to access it.
