I have a 2001 Subaru outback and a 1995 subaru legacy I hit a deer .. my question can I put the 1995 transmission in the 2001 out back

I have a 2001 Subaru Outback wagon 2.5L  That the tranny is slipping .. and I
have a 1995 legacy wagon 2.2L dual Port that I hit a deer with .. My question is
can I put the 1995 tranny in the 2001 .. both are automatic .. and If I cant do
that can I change the motor and tranny .. into the 2001 from the 1995

You would have computer issues as the old trans is OBD1 and the 2001 is OBD2.


OK what about a 1998 trans in the 2001
