How many miles are on your car? Could you please describe what you were doing when all of this started happening? I presume that it was working fine when you first got the car?

By the way, a car that will not stay in park is dangerous, think Anton Yelchin who just recently died from his car. Be careful. Put it in neutral and set the emergency brake securely..
