It usually throws a second code to narrow down the problem. Code P0700 only tells u there's an issue in the transmission circuit.

I think 0763 and 0762 it drives fine when light isnt in but when it comes on it doesn't go out if drive

If second code is P0762 – Low transmission fluid level – Dirty transmission fluid – Faulty shift solenoid C valve – Shift solenoid C valve harness or connectors – Shift solenoid C valve circuit is open or shorted The Error code is generally activated on detection of the following conditions: The P0762 Subaru code is detected when the gear required by the ECM does not match the actual gear when vehicle is driven.

Both codes are caused by solenoid "C" stuck. Try checking transmission fluid level if level is ok, change it.

So I need to replace that solenoid I changed the fluid and it still has light and stuff

I meant to change the fluid but if u already did, u'r better off paying for a diagnose otherwise u'll end up spending a lot more money by guessing.
