how do i take out my oil pan for a pontiac gand am gt 1999

Get a Haynes manual for your car at Advance Auto Parts, Autozone, or any good auto parts store. This will have step-by-step directions with visuals which are required for a repair of this magnitude.

is that a V6 engine ? if it is oil pump is in the timing cover , good luck.
