Slightly better than a KIA but not much. I wouldn’t buy one.

With all the recalls & problems, why would you even consider one of these headaches? My next car will be a Lexus TX 550h+... Why don't you take a look at that.

Vehicles get recalled all the time. See exactly what it's been recalled for. If it's something minor, like the color of the parking light lens isn't amber enough, I wouldn't worry about it. But if it's something major, like it could cause a crash because something important might break or fall off, then check the vehicle history report and see if the recall has been done. If not, make that a condition of your purchase. Be wary of a recall that could be an ongoing, never ending problem, like excessive oil consumption. Those are usually Band Aid types of fixes that don't last the lifetime of the vehicle. Avoid vehicle manufacturers like GM that are always having one thing or another recalled. That tells me they can't do anything right! Typically Hyundai is not a reliable and long lasting brand. But with good maintenance and upkeep you might get a good one! Hope that helps! Jim
