Won't start

I have 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix the battery is good
but won't start I was told if u spray eather in the it
filter if the car starts after that then it's the fuel
pump  and it didn't start it rolls over and all that just
won't start

If you give it a shot of ether and it starts, it means you are getting spark. If it doesn't, you are not getting any spark and need to start looking at the electrical system. Of course, this assumes the timing is also relatively close to correct.
