Just inherited a 2013 Subaru XV Crosstek from my father-in-law who is now deceased. The manual says there's a subkey (looks like a regular key but with no FOB or buttons). Can anyone tell me what this is used for? If I insert it in the driver's door and unlock the car alarm goes off (honking).
