Fuel regulator at intake is sucking air due to a bad seal. Replace the regulator and when you remove the old one test the fuel pump by placing a dry rag over the open gas line that you removed from the regulator and turn the ignition to " on" and notice gas spray on to the rag. If gas then pump and filter are fine.
