Why wont my car start?

I have a 2002 oldsmobile intrigue and the car starts only
when it wants to. I had the battery and the starter
changed and it still wont start.

Does it crank? Does it crank but not start? Need more info.

Try a new ignition switch. I had the sane problem in my 2002 and a new ignition switch solved the problem.

Same problems ...dealerships replaplaced everything with no luck...local garage found it was a loose ground connection

Go back to the dealership and show your receipt for the repair that worked. Tell the dealership that all the costly repairs they did did nothing to fix the problem, and show them how easy it was for another mechanic to find & fix the problem. Then demand to be reimbursed for all those needless repairs they performed on your car. Don't be afraid to escalate this to Small Claims Court.
