I have a 99' Nissan sentra. It is turning over strong but will not fire. I suspect fuel pump. Is there any way to check it?

Check it with a fuel pressure gauge. All my vacuum gauges also have a fuel pressure built into it. Lot of vehicles have a plug in the engine compartment where you can hook up a fuel pressure gauge. Also don't forget the ignition side for problem solving. Things like a bad coil can also prevent your car from starting.
