Lexus SC430 when exposed to sun 87 degrees or higher, it sounds like it is going to blow up and all panel lights comes on. Happens when I start the car outside on a very hot day after 4 hours. What is the problem? On cool days, starts with no problems. Can it be an oil problem? Thank you.

My vehicle (SC430, 2002) experienced similar problems. I couldn't get the drivers side door to unlock after exposure to high temps. A few weeks later I experienced the control panel going crazy and I could barely make it home in the vehicle. Ultimately, I ended up purchasing a new alternator, battery, pulley and belt. So far, so good. Hope this helps.
