How came my car starts without a key?

My car starts just fine but I cannot find my key.  Is the key hidden somewhere in
my car?

Just spoke with my car dealer in service and he said that the key could not be anywhere outside of the car like a fender or anything like that because it would not start. He insists it's in the car so on Monday he will take a look and find it for me. So thank you very much for your time. I am grateful to you. (and wear your mask!)
