Listen, ABS is great. But, there's millions of cars on the road without it. If you have come to the point of diminishing returns and the cost for repairing. the ABS is prohibitively expensive, just drive without it and be careful.

Nina, a scan of the system should tell you what is wrong, then you can decide whether to fix or not. It could just be a bad wire at the speed sensor on a wheel. also, a bad wheel bearing will ruin a sensor and you will have to fix that. had it happen once. had an abs light and we couldn't figure out what was wrong. the wheel bearing went bad gradually and ruined the speed sensor. new hub assembly and boom, all fixed.
